History will be made in the Nigerian gospel film industry on Saturday, August 26, 2023, when the foremost association for all professional gospel film journalists and bloggers, the Nigerian Association of Gospel Film Journalists, will be formally inaugurated.
In a Press Release jointly signed by the President Designate of the association, Mr. Oluwafemi Dosu, and the Director of Publicity Designate, Mr. Oluwagbenga Bankole, the professional body will be inaugurated during the 5th anniversary of Gospel Film News, which will be held on the same date at GOFAMINT, House of Glory, Kilometer 40, Lagos/Ibadan Expressway, Aseese, Ogun State.
According to the release, the Mission Statement of the association is "to promote robust film reporting professionally and ensure good ethical conduct for every member of the association," while the Vision Statement is "to promote professionalism, unity, and advancement of gospel film journalism in Nigeria with International best practices."
It further stated that officers who will be inaugurated are the President, Vice President, General Secretary, Director of Publicity, Treasurer, Financial Secretary, Welfare, and Special duties.
The event will have in attendance renowned drama ministers, Evang. Mike Bamiloye, Evang. Shola Mike Agboola of EVOM, Evang. Kolade and Sunmbo Segun-Okeowo, Evang. Yemi Adepoju, Evang. Isaac Femi Akintunde, Dr. Adeoye Omoniyi, Evang. Idowu Oluwaferanmi, Emmanuel Oye, and other notable personalities in the Nigerian gospel film industry.
