The convener of 12 Hours Prayer under the auspices of the GreatHouse Altar of Fire Ministry, Pastor Chris Isaac, yesterday, expressed concern and disclosed of embarking on 12 hours of intensive prayers over state of the nation.
Speaking on the current state of the country with a lot of apprehension and comments after the general elections, Pastor Isaac along with Pastor Chibuzor Isaac, said the nation needs serious prayers now.
They also said it is the time for Christians to rise to the occasion and pray for the country, hence the special intensive prayers being organized.
They said: “We are Nigerians and anything that affects Nigeria affects us.
“A lot of threats besieging our land, and we know the power of prayer can change things as we embark on 12 hours nonstop prayer, which is the 15th edition with theme ‘The End of an Affliction’.
“Basically, it is reawakening the spirit man of all christians, and to pray for a better Nigeria in all aspects, and it is going to hold on May 6, 2023, from 7:00am-7:00pm at No. 2, Makinde Street, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos State.”
Meanwhile, according to him, God told him while he was a teenager that, “If you can pray for 12 hours nonstop, I will use you do remarkable things.
“One may ask, must you pray for 12 hours? 12 hours is a number of authority, covenant, power, order, and thrones.
“The nation of Israel is built on 12. Jesus had 12 disciples.
“In the book of revelation, there are 12gates in heaven, also, a tree bears 12 fruits and its leaves is for the healing of nations. Jesus in his days prayed all through the night (12hrs)”
He also added that, “12 hrs rule the day and also night, that means 12 is number of order. Anyone that prays for 12hrs changes an order and sets a sequence.”
