Bishop David Oyedepo
The Founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide (a.k.a Winners Chapel), Bishop David Oyedepo has urged Christians to stop pursuing prophecies and pursue after God.
Bishop Oyedepo said this as his wife, Pastor Faith Oyedepo holds her 64th birthday thanksgiving on Sunday, 6th February, 2022.
The clergyman stated that, "God is not a joker, He means what He says and He says only what He means. Let Your faith come alive in the prophetic Word for the year and pursue after God whose hand only can make it happen. People pursue prophecies, pursue after God."
According to Bishop Oyedepo, "God told me in 1997, "the harder you follow God, the higher you fly" from A. W. Tozer's book, 'The Pursuit of God'. We have never pursued after anything of value in this ministry. We just keep pursuing after God and He keeps turning them in one after the other as they are due. We are ordained for an enviable flight in all areas of life this year. You shall not miss your place in it."
