The Founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide (a.k.a Winners Chapel), Bishop David Oyedepo has urged Christians to stop blaming God for their problems.
The clergyman stated that, "the Lord speaking to me said some are asking if Matthew 6:33 works, why is it not working for everybody. Does healing work in my kingdom? Why is it not working for everybody? Not everybody receives and believes it. Is prosperity working in the kingdom? Yes! Is it working for everybody? No, because not everyone believes and receives it. Every word I speak works for whosoever believes. Nothing works in your life on its own without your conscious engagement with it. Does success work in the Kingdom? Yes!"
"Why is it not working for everybody? It only works for those who believe in it and work it out. You never find an idle man who succeeds, it is not known in the natural and you can’t find it in the supernatural. Only diligent individuals ever get distinguished in their pursuit. Stop casting aspersions on me, I am not the one responsible for where you are," he said.
Bishop Oyedepo described that, "If you won’t pray, God has no right to answer. You are just there complaining, complaining and asking is not the same. Obey me and you say No! I will not listen. Everything about God operates on a covenant platform. You determine how God relates with you. I determine how God relates with me. Church Gist. Stop blaming God. God is not your troubler. It’s not one witch behind your house, some have witches surrounding them everywhere yet they succeed. You are the cause of your problem."
