The Assistant General Overseer (Admin/Personnel) at The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor J.F. Odesola has urged the youths to build a cordial relationship with God, saying that one can only succeed exceedingly when one have unbroken fellowship with God.
Pastor Odesola stated this while ministering this morning at the 2021 Annual Youth Convention of The Redeemed Christian Church of God.
He told the youths that to do exceedingly expectation, God's factor is number one, adding that;"you must give your life to Christ. You must have personal relationship with Jesus. You must be born again. When you are born again you will be controlled by the Spirit that is limitless which is the spirit of God."
He further urged them to maintain a cordial fellowship with God, noting that every child of God is called to fellowship with Him.
Pastor Odesola urged them to discover God's purpose for their lives and pursue it, stressing that they should know that they came to be a solution to the world and a light and anyone that curses them is wasting his or her saliva.
"Accept responsibility for your life. No one will help you to live your life. Prayer is part of the responsibilities you need to take, but it is not prayer alone. If you need to go for seminar or workshop go.You must be teachable. God can use anybody to teach you. It was Laban that thought Moses division of labour.Quit your comfort zone. Stress yourself. Don't give yourself to pleasure. Successful don't do what is reasonable, they do what is innovative," he stated.
